Let’s do it! I have basically NO self-stitched items, so I have no idea how this is going to work, but let’s give it the old college try! I’m looking forward to trying to work me-made stuff into my day-to-day wardrobe.
‘I, Ginger from ‘Ginger Makes…’ sign up as a participant of Me-Made-May ’12. I endeavour to wear at least one article of me-made clothing three times a week for the duration of May 2012.
Wish me luck! I’m really excited to see your outfits! That’s the main reason why I want to play along– you guys always look like you’re having so much fun!
Good luck! It’s definitely a challenge (says the girl who couldn’t finish SSS ’11) but I have confidence that you’ll come up with some fabulous pieces! 🙂

Dude, when I was a student, I felt like not wearing pajamas was a major accomplishment! I can’t believe how much you get done on a limited budget with SUPER limited time– you’re a superwoman, gal!

Okay, where’s the “like” button for incredibly sweet comments that make my morning!? 😉
And it’s not that I’m a superwoman, per se – I just happen to be a highly motivated recently dumped gal who suffers from insomnia. 😉

Welcome! It’s definitely a challenge– I failed Me-Made-March in about a week last year– but I’m glad you’re giving it a shot!

Yay! So glad you’re joining in. Have fun with it. I don’t have anything resemblinga daily supply (you were smart to pledge three days a week) but I’m allowing repeats as long as I accessorize fabulously. You’ll definitely make it work.

Repeats are totally fine! In fact, I always find them the most interesting– I love to see different ways that people style the same item. So cool!

I have no items made for myself by myself, so I have actually changed the challenge a little for me and said that May will be the month when I stop creating things for other people and make something for myself instead. This week is skirt week … lets see how this goes 🙂

You know, MMM is perfect timing for me this year (today is my last day at my freelance job, so I should have some more free time over the next month), so it seems like as good a time as any to try this! Not sure how it will go, but thanks for the encouragement! 🙂
